சென்னை: சமூகத்தில் பிரபலமானவர்கள், அரசு அதிகாரிகள், ஊழியர்கள் உள்ளிட்டோருக்கு அரசு தரப்பிலிருந்து வீட்டு வசதி வாரிய வீடுகள், நிலங்களை ஒதுக்கும் முறை உடனடியாக ரத்து செய்யப்படுவதாக தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
இன்று கூடிய தமிழக சட்டசபையில் ஆளுநர் பர்னாலா ஆற்றிய உரையில் இந்த அறிவிப்பு இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
சமீபத்தில் உயர்நீதிமன்ற முன்னாள் நீதிபதிகள், அரசு அதிகாரிகள், திமுகவினர், காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகள் உள்ளிட்டோருக்கும், அவர்களது குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் விதிமுறைகளை மீறி முறைகேடான வகையில் வீட்டு வசதி வாரிய வீடுகள், நிலங்கள் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டதாக பெரும் சர்ச்சை வெடித்தது.
இந்தப் பி்ன்னணியில் இன்று அந்த ஒதுக்கீட்டு முறை உடனடியாக ரத்து செய்யப்படுவதாக ஆளுநர் உரையில் அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
இதுதொடர்பாக ஆளுநர் ஆற்றிய உரையில், அரசு விருப்ப ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் வீட்டு வசதி வாரிய வீடுகள், நிலங்கள் ஒதுக்கும் முறை ரத்து செய்யப்படுகிறது. இன்று முதலே அந்த உத்தரவு அமலுக்கு வருகிறது என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.
The Tamil Nadu Government today announced abolishment of allotting houses and plots of Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) under its discretionary quota. Delivering the customary address to the state Assembly, Governor Surjit Singh Barnala said this would come into effect from today. He said the system of allotting houses and plots under the Government Discretionary Quota, which has been in vogue for the past several years in the TNHB, was being ended. Recently TNHB's house and plot allocation scam came to light. Retired judges, police officers, DMK functionaries and others were benefitted by this allocation. In this background the govt has abolished the quota.
