அமெரிக்க பாதுகாப்புத்துறையின் உயர் பதவிக்கு இந்தியர் நியமனம்

வாஷிங்டன்: அமெரிக்க பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகமான பென்டகனின் தெற்கு மற்றும் தென் கிழக்கு ஆசிய நாடுகளைக் கண்காணிக்கும் பிரிவின் தலைவராக இந்தியரான விக்ரம் சிங் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

பென்டகனின் துணை உதவிச் செயலாளர் (தெற்கு மற்றும் தென் கிழக்கு ஆசிய நாடுகள்) என்ற பதவிக்கு அவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இவர் அமெரிக்கப் பாதுகாப்புத்துறை இணையமைச்சரின் (கொள்கைகள் பிரிவு) கீழ் இயங்குவார்.
